Minority Report meets Sixth Sense

Here’s an amazing (and scary) look at what the future of computers may look like.

If you saw the movie Minority Report you will remember the scenes in which they scanned through computer files projected in the air using their hands as if they were the mouse.

This new technology, called Sixth Sense (no, it doesn’t let you see dead people), shows that Minority Report’s futuristic look might not be too far away from becoming reality. The video is about eight minutes long but well worth watching – especially the parts featuring a phone number being dialed from the palm of a hand – and a book review that is projected against the actual book being held in the book store.
